Garden Fever

It's only January and I already have garden fever this year. I seem to catch it earlier and earlier each year now. If your anything like me there is nothing quite like walking in your backyard around dinner time and fetching some fresh veggies, life just doesn't get much better than that.


Here are just a few pics (of prior year's garden) incase you have some of that great garden fever as well, or incase you didn't maybe these will help you get it going again.

Welcome 2012....

I can't believe it's been nearly two months since I've posted; oops, sorry bout that guys! I will try to do better. As we welcome a new year around her we are also welcoming some new animals. Check out our Ossabaw Island pigs. Are they not the cutest things you've ever seen? Lol, just kidding I know they are super ugly pigs but if you are anything like us once you've tasted their amazing meat you will fall in love with their look! I'm starting to drool now remember how wonderful the pork chops I had at the Nature's Harmony farm dinner were. These five boys and one sow are in fact from Nature's Harmony. It took one bite at the farm dinner last year and we were immediately sold on the Ossabaw Island breed! So far we could be happier with our choice. We are glad to have them on the farm!
